Lamborghini Urus gets a new flagship spec

The updated Lamborghini Urus SE has just debuted at the Beijing Auto Show in China, packing more power and torque than ever before.

The luxury soft-roader now combines a 4.0-liter turbocharged V8 rated at 620 PS (612 hp / 456 kW) with an electric motor delivering 192 PS (189 hp / 141 kW) straight into the eight-speed AT. Their combined output makes 800 PS (789 hp / 588 kW). The respective individual torques are 800 and 483 Newton-meters, but the total is capped at 950 Nm (701 lb-ft).

Equipped like this, the new Urus SE needs 3.4 seconds to go from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) and 11.2 seconds to go 0-200 km/h (0-124 mph). The peak acceleration isn’t achieved until 312 km/h (194 mph).

A 25.9-kWh battery pack located under the trunk are floor delivers enough power for 60 km (37 miles) of all-electric driving. The speed is capped at 135 km/h (84 mph) in this mode.
